SwitchMall privacy information
SwitchMall provides product discovery, shopping lists, account features, electronic receipt tools, purchase history and location-aware store results. Depending on the features a person chooses to use, the service may process account identifiers, preferences, shopping-list content, receipt information, approximate or supplied location, device and diagnostic details, and messages sent to support. Public catalog pages do not require a customer account.
Information is used to provide requested features, protect accounts, diagnose failures, prevent abuse and improve the shopping experience. Some functions rely on service providers involved in authentication, infrastructure, catalog delivery or support processing. Users should avoid placing passwords, authentication codes, complete payment-card information or unrelated sensitive data in shopping lists and support messages.
Security and traffic logs
To operate the service, measure human and automated traffic, diagnose failures and prevent bulk extraction or other abuse, SwitchMall keeps short-lived access aggregates. These may include request time, endpoint or MCP tool name, HTTP status, country, device or client information, a masked IP address and a keyed hash used to recognize repeated activity without storing the full IP address in the analytics log. Request payloads, authentication tokens, cookies and MCP search arguments are not stored in this traffic log. Detailed traffic aggregates are automatically removed after 14 days.
